About Us

Facilitating Regional Development

Albury Wodonga Area Consultative Committee supports regional development through the provision of services to assist business, community and government entities.

Key services include:

  • Developing and obtaining funding for projects that have economic and community benefits
  • Providing advice, information and support to small business
  • Training and Mentoring young entrepreneurs to help establishment and expansion of their businesses

The AWACC services a region that incorporates the Cities of Albury and Wodonga, and the Shires of Corowa, Greater Hume, Indigo, Towong, Tumbarumba & Urana.

The Albury Wodonga ACC is one of 56 Area Consultative Committees established on a regional basis across Australia and funded by the Federal Government through the Department of Transport and Regional Services.

The Area Consultative Committee Network develops partnerships between the community, government and businesses to access Governmnet and other programmes designed to achieve local comunity goals and to develop local community capacity.
